Year 4 2021-22

Today we practiced playing the notes G and A along to Mamma Mia.

We have ordered the story of David and Goliath and discussed how it shows that if we have faith in God, we can do anything.

 

In science this week we have conducted our water cycle experiment. We have made sure our test is fair buy using the same measurements, materials and conditions. Over time we are going to observe the changes in the states of matter, the water will condense and produce evaporation. The bags were also displayed in different areas such as the window, wall and cupboard. The children were predicting which would evaporate the most and why. 

This week we have been looking at representing numbers in different ways.

Some more of our lovely booklets. The children have researched and summarised the layers of the rainforest, whilst describing which animals live there.

1. This week we ha be been creating our own booklets about the layers of the rainforest. So impressed with how these have turned out – well done Year 4!

This week we have looked at creating our own weather stations which we will create next week.

This week in computing we have been looking at weather around the world and recording them into a spreadsheet.

This week we have been looking at different ways to represent our numbers.

This week we have been looking  at solids, liquids and gases. We played a game of corners and showed particles using Cheerios.
